A fantastic blog, discovered by accident Michelle! AS an Indian origin Australian , I really am upsit with the Indian food in Canberra. It is all the same old Punjabi food…where are the steaming idlies, chaat and nimbu panis? South Indian and Bengali /Gujerati food is not available. Ruchi is a poor excuse.

I have discovered a fantastic place for Chinese food in the southern suburbs….China Tea House….authentic Chinese food cooked by professional Chinese cooks and at very reasonable rates. It is BYO and the portions are large. The dry chili beef and the seafood combinations are to die for! By the way I thinks corkage above say $5 levied by many restaurants but not this place, is excessive.
